Nashville!

Wedding in Nashville

A couple of weeks ago we went to a wedding of a family friend up in Nashville. Harrison's girlfriend was the flower girl in the wedding so he wanted to look good!! We actually bought him a REAL tie... and it was super adorable! Here are a couple shots from the wedding:

When Marlie got to the reception Harrison ran right over to see her!

Then they decided to run off together...

and they finished the night off with a little piggie soak in the hot tub!!

Kids can fall asleep ANYWHERE!

Harrison is almost three - and I can honestly say this is the first time this has EVER happened!! The other night at dinner he literally fell asleep right in the middle of eating!! SO CUTE!!

CHUCK E CHEESE!!!

So I was starting to feel like a bad parent... my son was almost 3 years old... and we'd never taken him to Chuck E Cheese!! GASP!! I know!!! We would drive by the place and Harrison would look out his window and say... "Chuck E Cheese - Mama, can we go there??" it was really sad! So finally his school was having a family night there - and we decided we'd take him! We walked in - and you would have thought he had won the lottery - he was so stinkin' excited with all the lights and sounds he almost didn't know where to go... so he and Corey started with a little Mario Cart...

He was having a blast!

Then Dad got serious - and made HDG get his own car...

They played a duck game...

A dino dash...

and drove a fire truck...

but really all Harrison wanted to do was watch the silly train go around and around... as if we don't have a train set at home!!!

then Dad tried to teach Harrison Ski Ball - but he wasn't really all that interested... Corey was a little bit sad about that!
Then Harrison went to play with the other kids for a while... I think he's eating the netting here... oh well!
and if there's a slide this kid is happy!

then he played this game... bop the something... and he was actually pretty at it!!

When we finally told him it was time to go - he was not too happy (please notice that his eyes are red in this picture!) but to make everything better we stopped at Chick-fil-a on the way home - and well everyone knows that Chick-fil-a fixes all problem... (not really - but that way I didn't have to cook - haha!) - pretty sure Harrison thought it was an awesome day!! :)

Mothers Day lunch - and Garner news!

On Sunday for Mothers Day we were able to have both of our families over for lunch (well minus Laura... she had to work - boo!!)! While we finished up cooking the lunch - the mom's open up their gifts -

here's the lunch - we got the menu from this months Paula Deen menu - it was DELICIOUS!

After lunch we had a little surprise for our families... Corey, Harrison, and I had secretly gone on Saturday and had an ultrasound to find out the sex of baby garner #2... so I made cupcakes and filled them with the gender color of the baby....
then we made everyone pick a "team" - the Garners (and Laura) all picked girl... and then my mom and dad picked boy...

On the count of 3 they took a bite....

And survey says.....

PINK! That's right - we're having a GIRL!!!! (Due Oct 15th)

After the cupcake excitement - Harrison took Uncle Bailey and Aunt Addie down to the man cave to play!! What a mess!

Aunt Addie was showing Harrison how she use to hold him when he was little... he thought it was super funny!

and not to worry... the grandmothers are always there to capture the moment! :)

Then Harrison and I got to take a couple of pictures together :) I feel SO blessed!!! I love this little man SO much!!!
